Pours with a rwo-finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Clear red/amber color. Light bodied and medium carbonation. Hoppy nose. Starts sweet and finishes with a slight bit of hoppiness and a metallic after taste. $1.35 for a 12 oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, MA.

Pours a pretty copper color with little head that fell right away. Aroma and taste are not remarkable. This is a beer brewed not to offend, and it pulls the job off decently.

Singletrack pours the color of oak that was recently varnished. An aroma of fruit, dripping with honey, along with a touch of dried caramel, toasted malt and hops, that are pretty herbaceous. The flavor profile is malt accented, thin and possesses notes of butter toffee caramel and hops, but they are flowery rather than herbaceous this time. All in all, this is just another amber ale that was designed to be very approachable and they succeeded.

Walnut Creek, Rockies Brewing, Boulder Brewing, this company is damn hard to figure out. Anyway this brew a nice clear amber color with a small fast falling off-white head. Very earthy and fruity malts in the aroma. Taste is a bit metallicy feeling, mild light toastiness, and a light raspberry yeast character, similar to a mcmenamins brew. Actually now that I think about it, this brew is very similar to a mcmenamins brew, that fruity yeast quality is very close, this almost reminds me of mcmenamins ruby.

tap at the pub 1/10/05 Surprisingly, it’s copper colored! Not much head. Aroma was a nice mix of spice and intense hops. Not as malty as I was expecting, but intresting. Piney hops and a dry, spicy flavor from the rye in the mash. Finishes a touch earthy with a note of citrus. Tasty.

$1.35 for a 12-oz single. Sure, it’s copper... yeay. No head. Smells of ordinary caramel malts... with a hint of stench. Flavor is full of hops, malts, and that same stench thing. Nothing I’d ever consider drinking again.

Well, there’s really not a whole lot going no here, but what is happening, seems to happen effortlessly. Pours a copper colored body and a small off white head. The flavors are lightly peppery, sweet notes of grains and a dripping of honey. There is a nice light citrus note there in the finish, which is what I feel rounds this beer out, overall. I could make this an effortless session beer; just enough flavor too never overwhelm the palate. Finish is crisp with the hint of hop. This was much better once it warmed up a bit.

Well, whatever name this goes by, it isn’t that good. Is that why they keep changing? Clear pale amber body with a small but creamy white head. Caramel nose, hoppiness, malt. Medium bodied. Flavor wasn’t all bad. Some notes of sweetness and citrus. Still, a mediocre beer.
