Medium bodied, clean, with not much good stuff going on hop or malt wise. The sweetness of the malt completely cancels out any hop subtleties. The amber malt aroma is hardly a pleasant aromatic experience either. A rather poor example of the style. A cut above macro-swill for sure, but definitely not recommended. In fairness Ive only had this once, maybe an old bottle. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Overall this beer is rather boring. Pours a copper or amber color with a thin off-white head. Malty sweetness with light bitter citrus hops following but not a whole lot to it. Not bad, drinkable, but also an easy one to forget. Sammy (4030), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Nice little beer with a light copper colour and a minimum head, but lace leaves its sign of freshness, and enormous spider webbing. No aroma, yet the hop is assuredly there without being overwhelming. A bit less than average mouthfeel. Drinkable, and sessionable.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2008 Draught at Boulder Beer. Clear amber - white head. Caramel, straw, sweetness, candy, chewing gum, sharpness - again wierd. ksurkin (405), Norfolk, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear, light copper with a thin, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is mostly malt with a slight hint of hops and citrus. Nothing amazing. Flavor is dry and slightly hoppy. Smooth, good carbonation, very slight bitter taste left on the palate. As a lifelong mountain biker, I had to buy a six pack, but I must admit it was mostly for the bottle. Just an average beer.
