I got a mixed flavor of metal and hops that I couldn’t quite discern in this beer. Otherwise it had a fairly decent malt character and was easily drinkable. Not much else however. Wouldn’t buy again.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber color with a decent, pillowy, white head. Has a nice taste of hops, malts and caramel. Is slightly bitter. Has a nice aroma that matches the taste. Aside, from the neat label an inexpensive price, this beer is very easy to drink as it smooth and quite tasty. All in all, this beer leaves me wanting more, each time I start to drink it.

Bottle. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head. Light malt and hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Light sweet and bitter flavor with an average finish of short duration

Bottle. Pours a dark golf/amber with a rocky two finger cream head and great lacing on the glass. Nose is sweet with caramel and toffee. Taste is as sweet as the aroma with caramel and brown sugar with a touch of hops in the finish. Light to medium mouth feel. Meh, typical amber.

bottle. really nice copper/amber ale... pours a deep copper - as the style would imply with a nice 1/4" white head which lasts throughout. not much aroma... great palate... soft and creamy on the top and more bitter and full on the sides. some caramel, hops and creamy malts. crisp, slightly bitter finish. overall, very enjoyable and serves as an excellent session beer.

Very similar to Fat Tire. A bit thick and chewier taste of malt than I expected. Nice copper appearance with some biting hops. Slightly better than I anticipated (the bar was set pretty low). Aroma is very non-descript. A dry and bitter finish but not overly burdensome. Not too bad.

Bottle. Faint aroma, just a touch of hops. A touch of citrus in the hops and a little bite at the end. A bit dry. Not bad.

Beer of the Month Club Selection (May 2008): Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a hazy copper body topped with a large off-white head (did pour to bottom of glass as opposed to side for maximum head creation and release of aroma.) Some skunkieness with some hops notes. Bittersweet flavor with a medium body. Palate is dry with some maltiness and light hopping, leaving a slight bitter hops aftertaste. Other than the afterbite of the hops, there really isn’t much that says "drink me!" Well... other than the fact that it’s beer... but not much after that...
