A bit thin and light for a stout, but it has some sweetness and aroma of chocolate, maybe coffee. Very likeable if not entirely enjoyable. The right price and the right circumstances, I might be inclined to try it again.

Appearance seemed a bit pale. Good rich sweet tones on the flavor end. A good but not great stout.

Draught. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (milk chocolate, caramel), with a note of vanilla. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Quite sweet, very chocolatey aroma, almost artificially so in both cases.

Deep brown to black color, chocolate brown head, nice lace. Nose is toasted grains, caramel, chocolate tones. Start is sweet, the middle medium, the finish is dry, nicely hopped, moderate carbonation, drinkable and a pleasant good not great.

no head whatsoever to my bottle, very hoppy aroma...pretty good coffee flavor which lingered VERY long into the aftertaste....a little too hoppy for me in a stout

Very little, if any, head retention. Sweet and chewy, with an almost Porter quality to it. Has a decent flavor, but lacking robustness.
