twitcher (110), framingham, Massachusetts, USA Jul 17, 2008 bottle. A vigorous pour of a "wheat beer" into an oversized glass yields... less than an inch of fizzy thin off white head on top of a pale yellow brew. Heavy clove aromas, with some wet grainy wheat bread. Flavors do improve a bit... sharp citrus lemon and clove notes, dry tart sweetness. A bit watery on the palate, though flavors come off crisp enough without much finish. Not bad, but not so good either. Narnad (56), Dundee, Illinois, USA Jul 15, 2008 This was poured from on tap. Came to the table cloudy golden in color and bearing a small white head. Aroma was of citrus and wheat. The flavor matched the aroma, lemon, strong spice flavor and a bit of a yeasty flavor in there as well. The density of the beer doesn’t feel right in the mouth and the lemon/spice flavor is quite overpowering compared to the other flavors present. Don’t think I will have this offering any time soon. cathcacr (504), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 12, 2008 I rate this, #499, in honor of RateBeer’s own blindeyedbetty, in the belief that she lives up to the kind of name and labeling we get for this: "Irresistable. Flirtatious. Aromatic. Soft. Supple. Unavoidable. . . ." :-)
amish_caravan (172), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 8, 2008 pours a pale gold color with a head that disappears into a white ring around the top. taste is of wheat and has a lemon after taste. very refreshing. I would purchase this again for drinking at a party. IlanMan (466), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 8, 2008 Clear light golden pour with a full white fluffy head. Aroma is strong of floral characters and coriander. Flavor doesn’t quite live up to the aroma but does have quite a bit of floral character with a touch of coriander. Not a lot o carbonation. Decent refreshing brew. May buy for a lawnmower beer.
