There is a little bit of a grassy aroma. Not very aromatic, but still a decent smell for a blonde ale. Smells heavily of wheat and yeast. There is not much citrus to speak of, but the wheat smell is overwhelming. If this is a wheat ale the color is too transparent. I do not appreciate that. The beer has a nice head that sticks around for a while. There is a very nice wheat and yeast taste, but again the citrus flavor is just not there. The beer is of an average palate. This beer just lacks the nuances of a good wheat ale. I like the yeast and the wheat, but beyond that there is nothing here. Overall, a very middle of the road type of beer. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 16, 2008 Bottled. Pours a cloudy golden yellow colour, with a firm white head. Citrus and spice aroma was pleasant. Easy drinking flavour with more citrus and some bananas. Good wheat beer. SSSteve (2104), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2008 Cloudy yellow pour with a very thin and short lived white head. Aroma has wheat, yeast, banana and some light spice. High carbonation. Taste revealed some clove, but it’s mainly banana and wheat. It’s just an honest wheat ale. Pretty good. fluffy (229), Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 7, 2008 bottle. yeasty and spicy at first, then a second wave of something like coriander or clove and some citrus behind it. the second bit was tart and apply too. was quite surprising, and the flavor intrigued me enough that it kept it interesting. a much more complex beer than i thought it was going to be. bryandhargrave (165), Richmond, Virginia, USA
