Tastes like the title suggests. This beer is very wet, with a salty "zing" to it. After taste is the real negative though, it’s probably similar in comparison to the afterthoughts of a sexual encounter with one Ms. Sweaty Betty.

Sampled at 2009 Pittsburgh Brufest. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head that left no lacing. Decent aromas and flavors of lemon and spices. Finishes a bit watery. Eh an average Wheat and probably Boulder’s worst beer.

Light babyfood peach aroma. Shimmering yellow, headless. Peach and banana flavor with a hop accent, lemon zest finish.Very subtle notes of clove are present. Not terribly in your face, but quite good and somewhat distinctive.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Clear very light gold color with a foamy, white head. Aroma: Lemon, yeast, slight floral notes, a bit of spice. Flavor: Slight spicy wheat notes, a bit of citrus, some yeast. Somewhere between a wit and blonde ale. Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a short finish. Overall: Not terrible, just not great either. Take it or leave it.

On tap at Papago. No idea why I ordered this. Oh, wait -- it was for a free glass. Poor decision on my part. Golden in color with a trim white head. Looks like a blonde, but has hefe roots. Loaded with wheat, yeast, and citrus zest. Cloying clove/banana notes on the finish. Not a fan.

Oops, did I already say another Boulder beer was my least fave? Never mind, this extremely pedestrian blonde is as unremarkable as they come. Granted, it was no longer scorching out so I really should have been drinking IPA’s, but I doubt even on a 100+ day I would be too pleased with this.

Surprised at the low rating of this. On tap at the Ginger Man in nYC. Nice clove taste. Super carbonation. Great beer.
