Aroma of hopcitrus, some clovey malts, and a lot of banana. Medium to light palate, with flavors of big Bazooka gum, with some clove and hopcitrus. bdjames29 (272), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Lemon and clove with ginger spiced aroma. Appearance is golden yellow and oily. Flavor is lemon,. lots of clove, and just a tiny bit of banana, but not hefe-like at all. Great wheat malt, and hints of some earthy grassy flavors as well. Mouthfeel is thin and boring. A tastey summer sitting on the porch beer though. locarboy (115), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2006 Poured out of a 12 oz bottle from the beer cooler at Whole Foods Market. Straw colored with a nice aroma. Good wheat beer flavor. A bit pricey at $8/6pack, but very drinkable...and I’d buy it again at the price. It seems that this might appeal to both beer drinkers and those folks that don’t consider themselves beer drinkers. A nice summer brew. dkoonce (889), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 9, 2006 Verly light gold, with a slight haze. Aroma is light malt and hops. Dry, with a bit of wheat in the flavor. Just saw that this is an american wheat beer. The whet flavor is very mild. The finish is clean and mellow. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Thick hazed golden yellow with a creamy white head. Banana and clove aroma with something askew (I think "seaweed" but my wife mentions "sauerkraut" and I’m inclined to agree). Dry and creamy with pronounced yeast in the flavor and a touch of bitterness. Finish flavor is fruity and a little buttery... but in a good way. I am in total agreement with the other reviewers who say that this beer exceeds it’s American Wheat confines and should be classed a Hefe.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2006 This is excellent for an American Wheat, and should probably be called a hefeweizen. It is cloudy yellow; and looked like egg yolk in the glass when the sediment was poured in. Aroma has citrus and coriander as well as very light banana. Flavor is of a medium-quality hefeweizen. Sweet wheat, citrus and other fruit as well. Light and refreshing; good on a warm day without the thickness of the best hefeweizens. An unexpected find. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Sampled at Broudy’s Beerfest, Jacksonville FL, 3 June 2006. This was a decent American Wheat, which came a little closer than most to the real hefeweizens. Cloudy light golden with a foamy white head. Aromas of banana and citrus, Flavor was lemony and wheaty, decent and drinkable, but not great.
