This beer was quite a bit thinner than i expected... It is quite drinkable for a summer wheat ale, but i cant imagine drinking this when it is not 90 degrees outside... Definitely citrusy... | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 20, 2008 I’m confused. It’s a blonde and the bottle also says wheat? Which is it? bottled conditioned beer with citrus in the nose - most obvious being the orange, slightly spicy as it warms. flirly light and hazy appearance. no head and minimal carbonation. Lots of wheat in mouthfeel, very creamy. minimal hop flavor. Not sure what they were shooting for, but I think they missed. Not a blonde, and way to phenolic to be an american wheat, while not enough to be a german hefe. This isn’t a beer I would pay money for. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 14, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin fizzy white head that diminishes to a thin film and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is musty, stinky earthy yeast with some banana and clove and a little citrus.
The flavor is wheaty malts with some yeast and a little spice and some sweet fruits. The flavor is pretty subdued and a little watery. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a watery texture and a touch of harsh carbonation.
Overall, a pretty bland mix of a hefeweizen and a wit. CoachJT (35), Columbia, South Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2008 12 oz bottle pour. Pale yellow in color, with banana and clove notes in the aroma. Cloves overly evident in the taste, overpowering anything else. Not a bad beer, but not as balanced as I would have hoped. esjaygee (1537), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Straw yellow, mild bodied with a slowly dissipating white frothy head. Aroma of yeast, spice, banana and fruit. Taste of wheat, fruit, spice with a spicy yeasty finish. Considering the lame name of the beer, I expected a drain pour but it surely exceeded expectations.
