Sampled at the second annual Bistro’s West Coast Barrel Aged Beer Fest: Pours a slightly hazy golden bronze with a thin ring of wispy white head. Aroma of fresh piny orangy hops with some lightly toasted oak character and pale malt. Starts with a nice light sweetness and fairly fresh grapefruity bittering and flavor hops drying out some toward a woody, crisp oaky finish. Well-balanced and quite drinkable.
