Nose is really full of citrus - tangerines and grapefruit. No doubt in the aroma that this is an APA on the bitter/hoppy side as some piney hops are there too. Some bready biscuit malt shows first on the tongut, before seceeding it’s ground to the grapefruit and pine. Finishes clean and crisp. Great growler to split in the backseat on the way to the casinos. slimchill (783), Austin, Texas, USA

Clear amber-brown with small head. Nice big hop flavor with very well restrained bitterness. Good sweet note. Lots of fruit, cherries and citrus with a resiny finish. Very clean with no harshness and a perfect thickness. potbeercollege (430), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Rich orange pour. Large hoppy nose with a small slice of catty hops. Tart and sour hops carry the taste. Leaves a urine aftertaste. Not too great. GardenGabe (129), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Clear golden pour with a thin head. Smells of pine and some grapefruit, and a freshly baked loaf of bread. Tastes is a typical malt start finished with the hoppy bitterness, the balance however is superb with the sweet hinting of bitter and the bitter hinting of sweet and each blending brilliantly. drjay44 (823), Salida, Colorado, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 8, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Nice orange/copper, good sized white head. Interesting aroma - hops and malt, but the hops are almost nutty, if that makes sense. Taste is decent as well - the hop mix here, Cascade and amarillo I think the menu said, is quite unique - the nuttiness and sweetness mix with the cascade quite nice. Good body, easy to drink, full of flavour - great pale ale.
