Thanks to whomever brought this to a tasting at miketd’s apartment. A slightly funky and unusual take on the typically Abt/Quad this one puts Boulevard on my map. I have seen their beers around but now I may just have to pick up one or two.
Aroma / Appearance - Carbonated and murky the body released cherries, oak, malt, and some sort of light funk. A bit unusual for the style it was less dense than I expected but great in its own right.
Flavor / Palate - Funky, sweaty, and chocolately this has a nice blend to it that makes it different than most of the beers I have tried recently. The wet finish caps a fun experience which is worth checking out if you find this at a tasting or in your cellar. fiver29 (732), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Flavors were very interesting. It has a sweet caramel flavor upfront, followed by some oak, vanilla, then finishes with tart cherry. No noticeable bouron at all throughout. Different brew and I like it. miketd (685), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
