Commercial Description:
A dry, medium-bodied dark ale. Its intense dark-roasted barley malt flavor is perfectly balanced by complex hop character.

BOTTLE: pours black, aroma of roasted malt and faint coffee. Taste was roasted malt, some coffee, a little creamy. Palate was a little thin. Decent beer.

Tastes of coffee with a hint of chocolate with enough hops to keep things under control. A good Porter and a nice find.

A bonus from MaltOMeal recently. Decently large aroma for the style predominately roasted coffee malt. A slightly creamy texture and a bittersweet chocolate flavor. All of that fades and heads into a pleasant but faint hop bitterness for some balance.

Pours dark brown with a beige head and aromas of roasty malt and coffee. Flavor is a little caramel sweetness then bitter coffee and hops.

Short 12oz twist-off bottle. Dark brown / black pour, light tan creamy head. Roasted coffee and chocolate, toasted grain all in the aroma. Flavor is kinda chalky, lots of rich roast, burnt grain flavor, and nice bitterness deep on the palate. very nice hop bite. Fuller bodied than most Porters I’ve had lately. delish.

12oz bottle courtesy of dakid618. Pours a dark brown to black color with thick and foamy tan one finger head that settles slowly and provides ample lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of roasted coffee, toasted bread, chocolate, ripe dark fruit, some hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor is roasted and malty with notes of chocolate, coffee, toffee, dark ripe fruit, some floral hops presence. Generally medium to full body with a pleasing malty and roasted finish.

12 oz bottle purchased at Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a dark brown color with a thin brown head. The aroma was roasted malt and coffee. The flavor was coffee and chocolate. The palate was average. The beer was a little thin, with soft carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Great deep brown color, coffee aroma, very easy to drink, just a bit too light though, needs to feel and taste heavier for a porter.
