Decently large aroma for the style predominately roasted coffee malt. A slightly creamy texture and a bittersweet chocolate flavor. All of that fades and heads into a pleasant but faint hop bitterness for some balance. topherh (936), Kearney, Missouri, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2009 Great deep brown color, coffee aroma, very easy to drink, just a bit too light though, needs to feel and taste heavier for a porter.
