| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Great fluffy head upon pour. Nice lacing left on glass. Roasted scent and flavor perk up as temp rises. Tastes of soft bitteness of coffee and soft hops dance nicely with the gentle malt. Easy to drink brew. Good brew, definetly worth a try. twd3lr (4), Benton, Arkansas, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 23, 2008 My favorite Boulevard beer. Not quite sure that the bottle conditioning adds to it; if anything the yeasty overtones seem to detract from the beer. However, the best American porter I have had.
