Jul 28, 2006 Darrrrk brown with tan head. Aroma is amazing! Brown sugar, molasses, dark malts. Mmm... Taste is a fantastic porter. Some sweet maltiness, lots of brown sugar and caramel. Still, it’s got some dark roast flavors too. I like the balance and I like the aroma a lot. Very delicious. Thanks to my buddy vexer for sending to me!

Jul 19, 2006 A perfect porter in my mind. Great appearance and aroma with a brown lasting head. One of the better domistic beers and another great beer from Boulevard Brewing. You should try one today!

Jul 13, 2006 Great fluffy head upon pour. Nice lacing left on glass.
Roasted scent and flavor perk up as temp rises. Tastes of soft bitteness of coffee and soft hops dance nicely with the gentle malt. Easy to drink brew.
Good brew, definetly worth a try.

Jul 3, 2006 Bottle in S.D. Poured a black color with a huge frothy brown head that mostly lasted and produced excellent lacing. Moderate roasted coffee dark chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Medium roasted coffee flavor with a medium bitter sweet finish of moderate duration. This is the standout brew that I have had from this brewer.

Jun 23, 2006 A pleasant earthiness/grassiness abounds in this heavily roasted porter. Dark brown body, tannish head. Roasted malts are heavy in the aroma, along with cocoa and bitter coffee. Thick and full-bodied. Chewy mouthfeel. The hops are mild and the alcohol is very light, which makes this a good beer to have with dinner (as with most porters). Good overall.

Jun 15, 2006 A full to medium body deep brown ale. Plenty of complex roasted malty flavors, just a bit too sweet. Nice hop quality, maybe just a bit shy of enough hop presence but near the top of this class. A very good beer.
