Tasted watery and metalic. I did appreciate the deep roastd flavor, but after having Fullers London Porter this was no good. egajdzis (3629), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 14, 2005 Poured a dark brown, ruby (almost purple) color with a medium sized, bubbly, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of light chocolate and roast, cherries, nuts, and wood. Chocolate, lots of roastiness, and faint dried fruitiness in the taste. A flavorful and robust porter.
