| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Courtesy of Gillard. Pours hazy brownish copper with light tan head. The aroma is fairly mild with some malt sweetness and pine hops swimming around in the maltiness. The taste is malty with pine hop bitterness and cherry fruitiness. Midway the pine and some other notes that are tough to pin down carry the experience to the finish. Ends tasty and moderately bitter. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 18, 2008 750ml, Batch #DB8078. Pours slightly hazy, dark amber with a big fizzy head with decent retention and good lace. Smells astringent and grassy hoppy. Nice, not super strong but good and nice hop aroma for sure. Tastes astringent and bitter, citrus hoppy. Brings out the alcohol a bit. Lots of somewhat flowery, dark citrus flavor. Medium body, vibrant carbonation. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 17, 2008 First of all I just have to say this is a Killer Double IPA! The smell is lovely, it tells you everything that this beer has to offer, displaying all the hop characteristics, citrus, pineapple and grapefruit, with loads and loads of rich and sweet caramel maltiness. Dark amber in coloring with a creamy white head, that recedes down leaving behind lots of sticky lacing. Resiny bite on the palate, with some sweet citrus fruits and a very assertive malt backbone holding it all together very well. An excellent offering! BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Bottle (Batch D8095). Poured a hazy copper with a creamy off-white head with some lasting and leaving lacing behind. Aroma of citrus hops and floral backed with a slight pine and malt background. Caramel malts in the flavor with an even mix of hops. Medium to full body that is sweet up front yet has moderate bitterness in the ending. Very nice. MrBunn (1543), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a coppery haze with a massive head and thick aromas of floral and fruity hops. Flavor is refreshingly different from so many IPAs... sure, the pine flavored bite is there up front, but then things transition to a nice orange juice finish with a touch of hibiscus tea or some other flower type sweetness. There is enough malt to balance all of this out, but it doesn’t really have much character of its own. This is darn good and I wish I had another couple bottles. fishingnet (1047), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 9, 2008 The aroma is distinctly piney, with a slight citrus hint. Deep head with good lacing. The head lingers through the entire beer. Very hoppy with some citrus, bit of a tart finish. Hides the alcohol very well. A well done IPA. Kudos again boulevard
