Commercial Description:
Boulevard Dry Stout is velvety black and perfectly opaque, and topped by a thick, creamy head. This very drinkable, delicate beer is a delightful harmony of smoky roasted flavors with a silky smooth finish. Now available in bottles.

Thanks to Vance for this one. Black body with a tall frothy tan head. Chocolate and coffee in the nose along with some sweet brown sugar. Flavor is sweet chocolaty, slightly roasted and quite smooth. Thin body but very fulfilling overall.

Dark, chocolate hops. Little light on flavor, but not bad. Good for the not-so-big stout lovers. Semi-thick head.

Ok dry stout but lacks on the flavor. Light body, light coffee, light chocolate. I have had many other more complex stouts but this one isn’t bad, just rates a little lower on my scale.

A fizzy and slowly/mostly receding beige head. Body is a super-deep brown, would be translucent if it were lighter. The nose is moderately roasty and fairly uninteresting, though no flaws are immediately evident and alcohol isn’t even remotely noticeable. Coffee and chocolate are light and creeping. Light hints of cedar encroach as warmth ensues. The flavor is progressively more interesting with each sip, but there is nothing memorable or particularly outstanding, other than good drinkability. Chocolate, coffee and roast are all mild and muddled into a soft and off-dry finish. The body is watery, light-medium, carbonation is light but prickly. Boring.

Pours a deep, burnt brown, nice head formation, but it vanishes oh too quickly. Aroma is a bit muted. There is a dank, acrid smoke component, reminds me of a day old cigar. A slight cola "twang" and even a hint of burnt sugar. Flavor is lean, with only a slight roasted flavor. Uninspired.

This is my personal favorite of all the beers that I’ve had the pleasure of drinking. It just seems to hit my taste buds just right.

Poured black with a creany tan head. Light aroma of chocolate and coffee. Watered down flavor of chocolate and coffee present. Wasn’t bad. Thanks Matt.
