Shared with fordest and padrefan98, thanks guys.

Pours dark dark brown with off white to tan head. The aroma is mild burnt malts, hints of vanilla and lactose. The flavor is thin with some burnt malts, light vanilla and not much else.

Bottled, BB 1/29/08. Poured clear, dark reddish-brown with a tall cap of deep beige head. The aroma was of chalky roasted dark chocolate and coffee, smoke, and sweet raisins in the background.. not bad, but a little muddled. The flavor had dry dark chocolate leaving a grainy, well-roasted coffee bitterness on the tongue and through the finish.. higher carbonation just fizzles this one out over the latter half of the drink.. not so enjoyable there at the end.. smoke appears in small bursts, and blended decently. Lighter-bodied and too grainy at many points.. high, un-checked bitterness at the finish.. not a good stout.

Black with a thin tan head. The aroma is a faint hint of malt and molasses. It seems more of a nutty aroma. The stout is slightly bitter with a smokey toasted malt flavor. The body is light to medium and the finish is quick with a tainting of sweetness.

Black with tah head. Mild roast with a hint of metallic to the nose. The body is medium-low. The flavor is of mild roast and a bit of bitter hops.

Tried this on a layover at KC International Airport, not bad, but would never buy this outside of KCI. WAY too thin and watery for a stout, although it was pretty dry as the name would suggest. Not a great beer, but better thatn the other options at the airport.

Dark brown/black, opaque appearance with a light tan head, which dissipated quickly. The aroma is primarily dark roasted malt with some element of fruitiness. Flavor is robust, with a smoky roasted malt taste. Very clean finish, with a slight coffee aftertaste, but not an unpleasant one.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of jimbowood. Thanks Jimbo. Pour appears black (actually deep garnet when held to the light) with a small disappearing beige head. the aroma is roasted malt and light fruit. The flavor has the same roasted malt as the aroma with some hints of smoke. There is also light chocolate. The finish is rather short. It is dry as advertised. Lighter than I would like. Not bad overall.
