| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2007 bottle from soonah: pours a black with a little light coming thru with a small thin tan head. aroma is of sweet malts and milk chocolate with a small amount of roasted smokeyness. the taste is a strange sweet bitter mix i cant really describe, but it finishes more bitter with coffee. not really to much to this beer very weak in most categories. it seems like i may have gotten a bad bottle. extremeicon (109), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Very creamy texture with tons of incredibly small bubbles making for quite a frothy head. Taste is as you’d expect for the style with coffee dominating. theisti (1693), Leawood, Kansas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 14, 2007 Draft. The beer was very dark, somewhat thin and dense head. The aroma was creamy. The flavor was very similar to a guiness; bready malt, creamy texture, and some roasted malt and chocolate. bigcat03 (191), Lincoln, Nebraska, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 14, 2007 Bottle from Hy-Vee poured into english pint - Pours almost black with a very slight hint of ruby and a one finger brown head; A little chocolate, roasted barley, and plenty of coffee to the nose; Mostly roast and coffee on the initial taste with some burnt chocolate; Lightly bitter roast and sweet malt aftertaste; Medium-full body; Too much carbonation; Yep...it’s a stout. Not too complex, but a stout that’s worth trying!
