Stale roasty aroma, dry roasty flavors. Nothing offensive, just an ordinary and average dry stout.

12 oz. bottle picked up at John’s in IC. I liked this one, even though it didn’t have any distinquishing qualities. poured a very dark brown with no light penatrating through my snifter. mild aromas and flavors of chocolate, coffee and some peaty smoke. finish was equally dry and sweet. didn’t have an aboundance of carbonation which suits me just fine. could easily make for a nice session stout.

Nice charred brown color with medium brown head. Strong coffee and licorice aroma with small amount of dark chocolate. Flavor is milky and full, with nice savory smoke notes. Pretty heavy on the patent malt. Overall quite tasty. Finishes pretty non-dry for a dry stout. Ends with some acridity and a bit much carbonation.

This is a medium body stout with a mild aroma of coffee. There’s a light sweet chocolate and licorice hints with an earthy lively smokey finish. I like the old time depression era look of the label.

12 oz bottle via ericmc83. Dark mahogany pour, almost black. Very small thin and quickly fading head. Nose is black patant malt with hints of coffee. Light roast flavor with a slight sourness on the finish. Fairly thin and rather fizzy on the tongue despite bottle conditioning makes the mouthfeel a little distracting. Nothing really wrong with this, but Dry Stout usually isn’t the most mind blowing of styles. This probably would be good on nitro.
