Commercial Description:
Boulevard Irish Ale, our springtime seasonal beer, is patterned after red ales that have a rich Irish heritage. Our recipe combines five kinds of malt to provide a complex, toasty flavor and reddish hue. Nugget and English Kent Golding hops are added to enhance the beer’s complexity and to produce a pleasing balance.

Bottle (12oz). Shared with garthicus, my bottle via trade with mreusch. Shared with someone who should know "Irish" when he tastes it ... he liked it, but can’t recall ever smelling or tasting anything like this back home ... Poured slightly hazy copper with a small wispy drool of off-white head. Odd perfume/floral aroma, reminded me of fruit-flavoured Pez, with sweet caramel malt underlying it. The taste had plenty of floral sweetness, but it had a welcome pungency that seemed to pass for bitterness - regardless, it seemed a little more balanced than I was expecting. A thick, syrupy body to this, with mild carbonation, not much alcohol character, and a long pungent floral/raw spice linger. The aroma seemed a little sweet, but I found I really enjoyed that flavour.

12oz bottle-A medium amber body with a decent tan head that dissipates into a small ring. Aroma of malt and thats about it. Taste begins with this malt and it continues throughout along with some caramel and has a bit more sweetness and dryness as well. Not a bad beer.

All my brews tonight courtesy of Soonah. Thanks! Bottle, Pours a slightly hazy brownish-red. Very faint aroma, an earthy maltiness. Thin head,. Tastes vegetal to me. Kind of like broccoli. Definitely not a fan of this one.

Pours a nice deep copper color with a full off-white head. There is a nice, complex roasted malt flavor that adds a wonderful smoky touch, but is kept in check by a fair amount of hops. I like scotch, and my favorite is single malt Islay, which has a deep smoky peat flavor, so that probably explains why I like this brew so much. I would like to pair this brew with a Welsh rabbit dish that uses a good sharp cheddar cheese and crusty bread. Stilton cheese would also go nicely with this brew.

Courtesy of kmweaver. Hazy amber body with a medium-sized beige head. Bready, cracker nose with light caramel and herbal hops. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter taste with cracker, vienna malts, cookie dough and herbs. Medium/light body is round with moderate carbonation.

12oz bottle, courtesy of pepsican. Thanks, Andy! Pours a hazy, reddish tea-like color; light tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of tea, earthiness, and mineral hop bitterness in the aroma. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: crisp carbonation; lively citrus and earthy bitterness, candy sugar; biscuity malts; the English bitterness is soft, slightly chewy; very nice, drinkable beer. Medium finish: breadiness, earthy malts, and some lingering bitterness.
