Commercial Description:
Boulevard Irish Ale, our springtime seasonal beer, is patterned after red ales that have a rich Irish heritage. Our recipe combines five kinds of malt to provide a complex, toasty flavor and reddish hue. Nugget and English Kent Golding hops are added to enhance the beer’s complexity and to produce a pleasing balance.

12 oz bottle from Soonah - thanks! Marked with a best by date of 05/01/07. Coppery brown with a tight beige head. Lightly toasty malt nose, some cookie and nuts. Nutty cookie flavors, a slight cinnamon note and mild earthiness. Decent brew.

Not particularly bad, but nothing stands out. Somehow, the beer seems to go down without much taste--no significant malt or hops.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Poured a nice rich copper color upon which sat a nearly two-finger high off-white head. The head was pillowy, borderline rocky and even offered up a bit of lacing. The aroma was floral with some maltiness. The flavor was a nice mix of sweet malt and subtle floral hops. A bit of a twangy metallic aftertaste was disappointing.

aroma is caramel and toasted bread with some floral hop notes. taste is caramel with some toffee and toast in there. there maybe a tiny earthy hop tone. the finish has slightly citrus and roast dryness to finish. not to bad quite quaffable.

on tap at O’ Dowd’s Little Dublin, Kansas City MO. brownish amber color, mostly clear, thin medium tan head. aroma is caramel malt and stale roasted peanuts. flavor is light roasted caramel malt, with papery/grassy dry hops. finish is a little dry and bitter like a wheat beer. unique for the style.

Bottle. Pour is brown with just a touch of redness. Smallish head that faded fast. Aroma is real muted though I did get some hops and malt. Taste is nice, solid malt accented with hops and bitterness building in the middle with a nice solid bitter finish. Nice fullness to this as well.

This used to be one of my fav’s! It may have lost something over the years, but it’s still pretty good! Poured medium/light brown with just a slight reddish hue. Very small head which dissipated quickly. Not much aroma to speak of.. Slightly bitter with a "bubbly" feel on the tongue. Very drinkable!

Pours amber in color with a little head. Little bit of a bitter taste and a good amount of carbonation
