The strawberry and vanilla were nice. Could easily drink this on a regular basis. Another great one by Boulevard.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 15, 2006 I have not met a Boulevard brew that I have not liked, maybe there are some I don’t love but like, all. Irish Ale is no exception, this session ale pours red and has a very complex taste. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA

Best by 05/05...Pours a hazy dark brown with a large tan head. Nose is a bit fruity and a tad sour with notes of strawberries and vanilla. Taste is the same with some toasted malts and a little pepper and sourness in the finish. A Pretty good dark ale albeit not real fresh. Very drinkable though. hayduke (1659), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 10, 2006 Draft. Amber tending toward red with haze. Nice light tan head that left good lacing. nose is fruit, hops, and citurs. Kind of a roasted malt flavor with interesting hops to make a good taking brew. Mouthfeel was above average. A well crafted Irish Ale with good balance that is a pleasure to drink. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

The aroma is sweet with quite a lot of fruit and hops combined with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, caramel, and light notes of alcohol, leading to a very dry bitter end.
