Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to light heavy yeasty, spicy coriander - pepper ! Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (240508)

Jan 5, 2008 (750ml bottle, thanks kmweaver) Medium off-white head atop hazy light amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, clove, some bubblegum, Belgian yeast, light herbal/spicy. Taste is medium sweet, orange/lemon, light bubblegum. Lack of dryness stands out. Medium body, low carbonation, alcohol well hidden.

Nov 15, 2009 Bottle at post Borefts BF 09 tasting. Gold/orange, lasting beige head. Tripel Belgian. Really good. Rather good bit sweet but good tangerine fruit. Lovely tripel. Good balancing hop on finish. Lovely.

Hazy blonde with a good white head. Standard tripel with too much spice and little over done on the sugar. Thankfully not too yeasty as many Belgians of this style are. So so but no better. Score 6/3/7/3/14
Re rate. Bottle at Borefts 10am day after hotel tasting.
MUCH better this time, maybe I got the bottom of the bottle at the Horsetel. Excellent Belgian style beer. Very convincing and true to style. Dry and bitter with some superb yeasty notes. Lovely stuff.
