Commercial Description:
Boulevard Lunar Ale is a cloudy, russet brown beer, with subtle aromatic notes provided by our special proprietary yeast strain. Lunar Ale’s distinctive rounded, mellow flavor is crowned by a crisp, dry finish. The old world art of bottle conditioning creates a secondary fermentation, resulting in a beer that tastes fresher, better, longer.

Dark dark cloudy orange. Small dissipating off white head with no lacing. Sweet candied aroma, plummy, grapes and dark fruits like most belgians. Body is very light, slight chocolate notes mixed with a smooth amber malt sweetness. No lingering flavors is by far the most disappointing part of this beer. Decent tastes and aromas but too thin to be memorable.

Unremarkable brown pour with a bready malt backbone. Lots of roast and some banana notes. Thin and watery and a bit astringent. Not my favorite beer.

Poured a brownish color. Not too bad but compared to what I have been drinking, It seemed a bit "light". If you like to do chugging competitions from das boot this will be a good choice.

A very malty, bready, brown ale with no balance. Given the option at $8 a six pack I would look elsewhere.

Dark brown / reddish color. Some aroma notes of caramel and fruit. Medium fizziness that almost overpower the dark malt flavors - lack of balance. Dark fruit and yeast on the finish. Would rate higher if the fizziness were toned down a notch.

From a 12 oz bottle the poured brown with off-white head and light lacing. Nose of roasted caramel matls and some ripe fruit. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is rich and of malts. Dry finish. Easy to drink.
