Pours a medium hued hazy amber with a small quickly dissipating head. Aromas are malty and wheaty, consisting of some sweet fruity esters of banana and clove that I would expect. Initial taste is very light, a light bodied brew for its color and nature that is light, watery, and has some light estery banana clove fruitiness that is pleasant. A nice malty finish that I enjoyed, but not really a dominant dark malt flavor that I’d expect to be paired with the fruitiness, although I definately taste it a little. Overall, very light in flavor but decent. A nice summer brew of this variety, but I probably would avoid it and try one of the more notable representatives of this genre. Nose-slightly sweet, malty, CO2, slightly musty, unsweet dark fruits. Taste-macroness, stale malts, woody, dry, light aroma hops, very macro and unoriginal, lightly sour on the backend, soap, juniper, coriander. Suttree (2723), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Some toasted rye bread flavors, perhaps even a touch of smokiness, and a crisp, woodsy hop finish. I didn’t hate this, in fact I kinda enjoyed it. Strykzone (1477), Wood River, Illinois, USA

Nice malty aroma with some hints of spicy hops. Mild toastiness evident. First taste is very good. More maltiness and a mild metallic flavor. Over time that toastiness shows up again. I like the medium to light body with a hint of cloying on the back of the tongue on the finish. Very refreshing. I found the beer improved as it warmed up a bit. Best to drink it in that 45-55 degree range, not ice cold. scooterbub (379), Lander, Wyoming, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark, cloudy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is of bananas, wheat, caramel malt and is a little sweat. Taste is similar, but a little watery. Reminds me of their wheat ale. Fairly good even as it warms up. A pretty good beer, as it is easy to drink and tastes rather good. willblake (2177), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Nice banana aroma. Thinner body, mildly nutty, lightly vegetal. Kind of a missed attempt, not quite up to the mediocre stardard of Moonglow. So thin. tkimbrought05 (37), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
