Commercial Description:
Boulevard Lunar Ale is a cloudy, russet brown beer, with subtle aromatic notes provided by our special proprietary yeast strain. Lunar Ale’s distinctive rounded, mellow flavor is crowned by a crisp, dry finish. The old world art of bottle conditioning creates a secondary fermentation, resulting in a beer that tastes fresher, better, longer.

20070625 12oz, thanks to dmac for sharing. Hazy light brown with thin off-white head. Nice banana aroma. Thinner body, mildly nutty, lightly vegetal. Kind of a missed attempt, not quite up to the mediocre stardard of Moonglow. So thin.

Poured slightly cloudy, copper color. Wasn’t really expecting much out of this beer. Got exactly what I thought. Ok but nothing special.

OK drinker. Amber pour with moderate white head. Aroma is malty and dry. Taste has a little hops but mostly wheat. Nothing exciting but not a disaster.

I bought this in a variety pack, for a party. It fit my budget and pleased my guests. Nothing spectacular, but drinkable.

A bit thin in flavour. Nose is all wheat, with a bit of clove. This beer isn’t doing much for me and I am doubting the freshness of this bottle.

12oz bottle-Pours a medium copper body with a small ring for a head which emits an aroma of malt, caramel, and yeast. Taste begins with yeast, banana, and caramel with lasts throughout and the banana becoming more prominent towards the end. A not to good representation of a Dunkleweizen but I wish I could think of which category it could better fit because it’s a decent tasting brew.
