| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Short stubby bottle. Pours hazy light brown with a thin tan head. The esters are definitely there in the smell but there is also some yeast that doesn’t smell quire right. The taste is wheat malt dominated with some acidic fruit added in. Mouthfeel was medium to thin. Not too bad but I would usually reach for something else. Not really my style. jbean (110), Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Draught. Color is cloudy brown and orange around the edges (very true to style) with thin, quickly disappearing off-white head. Aroma is smoke and yeast. Flavor is yeast, clove, and slighly roasted malt. Very true to style, like the Dunkelweizens I drank in Bavaria, but not as impressive in appearance. A good beer. IlanMan (817), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA

It’s some variation on the unfiltered wheat and I can’t for the life of me figure out why this is not a seasonal. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

I like the body of it. Not to much hop,but enough so that you have just a hint while drinking. I don’t like to much hop and this beer has just the right amount in my opinion. Poo
