Commercial Description:
Boulevard Lunar Ale is a cloudy, russet brown beer, with subtle aromatic notes provided by our special proprietary yeast strain. Lunar Ale’s distinctive rounded, mellow flavor is crowned by a crisp, dry finish. The old world art of bottle conditioning creates a secondary fermentation, resulting in a beer that tastes fresher, better, longer.

Draught > Some Irish pub on 15th in Tulsa. Uhhh, not so good there buddy. It’s not lacking flavor but the flavor it has just isn’t very good. Not offensive but not good. OK drinkable b/c of the ABV but still not tasty enough to try again.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a small head. Taste was very yeasty, with banana and cloves. Also brown sugar and dark fruits. Medium bodied.

Robe blonde surmontée d’une mousse blanche qui persiste. Arômes de levures, de malt et de houblon amérisant. Saveurs de malt caramélisé et de levures.

Bottle from trade at NEPA case splitting club. I can’t say I hate this as there are some banana wheat tones in here with an almost cinnamon backbone. But the enjoyable aspects are way too slight and this would rock if those pieces were enhanced instead of drowned in an ocean of drinkability (I could have said "watered down").

Bottle. Nice nose: yeast, bananas, cloves, a bit grassy, slightly metallic (copper). Pours dark amber brown with a small head. Fairly nondescript flavor profile. Just a lot of yeasty dryness. Only a hint of fruit. Decent carbonation, but fairly thin. Finishes a bit dry and watery.
