Pours a translucent, copper, ruby amber with a thin white head that faded fast. Aroma is fairly pleasant, malts and crackers, slightly fruity, slightly earthy. Flavor has some dark fruits, earthy, some light citrus, some wheat. Finish is medium bodied and dry. Better than the regular wheat. Dmalone102 (218), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 11, 2009 Aroma- Medium Earthy hop aroma, faint fuity esters, a little mettalic.
Appearance- Orange/brownish in color. Cloudy. Small but creamy off white head.
Flavor- Not a lot of flavor. Malt flavor is very low. What is there is grainy. Low hop bitterness, low hop flavor, no sweetness. There is some tartness from carbonation. The hallmark of this style is yeast character, and there is very little of that in this beer.
Palate- Dry and watery, there is very little body. There seems to be a moderate level of carbonation.
Overall- I feel that there was nothing to make this beer special, or even flavorfull. After reading the style guidelines, I was looking for a full wheat beer, with malt flavor from munich and/or vienna malts, with belgian esters throughout... I did not get that.

| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | May 3, 2009 quite possibly the worst beer ever made. tasted like raisins. horrible watered-down texture. lacking malt. lacking hop. was glorified prune juice. horrific. randolphjj (98), Raymore, Missouri, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 28, 2009 I like the lunar. They changed the recipe after it came out the first time -- and I approve. A belgian yeast strain brings the whole thing together. It’s like a dark, unfiltered wheat meets a belgian beer or hefe... nicely done. lumpsowers (252), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Lightly hops, syrupy maltiness, sickly sweet, fruitness, this was warm (and I was drunk…) when I drank this.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Pours from the bottle to a cloudy reddish brown with decent carbonation, a medium thick white head that lingers to mid-glass and okay lacing. Nose is a malty blend of clove and other spices, cookie dough and biscuits. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and the taste picks up nicely the dough and spices of the nose. As expected at only 5.1%, the alcohol never made itself known, but the finish was long and smooth. Not bad. curly (604), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Hazy brown amber pour with minimal head. Aroma is wheat and caramel. Tastes funny... tastes like paint.
