Pours a copper hue with smallish, off white frothy head. A very mild hop/malt blend for the aroma. Light caramel notes tasted in very smooth presentation. Enjoyed the unique blend of hops and roasted malt in this very drinkable offering. Jethro6191 (36), USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Pleasant aroma of banana bread and cloves with another spice; nutmeg, maybe. Citrus and grassy hop notes are present in the nose, as well. Pours a clear amber with a thin head but somehow manages to appear muddy. Taste is sweet and complex, but not in a good way. Theres a lot, too much, going on in this beer. The end result is garbled. Medium bodied with an oily texture and rather flat carbonation. LIngering sweet finish, not crisp and dry as advertised. I like where Boulevard was attempting to go with this but it feels as though they overreached. Worth trying once. kuphish (161), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear, deep amber/light brown body. Large, creamy, off-white head. Lasting. Aroma is of spicy wheat...some clove and miscellaneous spice. Flavor contains more light, muddy wheat malt with hints of yeast spiciness. Light, somewhat thin bodied. Average carbonation. Moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Overall drinkable and pleasant enough, but fairly muddy and confusing. shawnm213 (999), South Bend, Indiana, USA

Pours a pretty much clear copper with a small cream colored head. head fades quickly. Aroma of bread, toast, spices, doughy malts, and banana. Flavor is much the same, with some caramel and creamy banana. Not bad. Not terribly exciting, but i enjoyed drinking this. Wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again though. The clove finish is interesting but overall it is a bit on the light side.
