Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Another offering from the 12 pack sampler I purchased. Poured a murky dark gold in color. Plenty of spotty lacing left on the sides of the glass. Smell is mostly balanced with the hops and malts working together. There is a bit of spice coming from the hops. Taste is refreshing, carbonated and smooth. Very easy drinking pale, but not interesting enough to warrant trying again.

Draft. Really nice beer. Great hop aroma and flavor. Nice citrus tones. This is a pale that make you want to have another.

Bottle, thanks to mreusch! Pours clear dark gold with a thick pale yellow head. Light aroma, mostly citrus. Medium body and carbonation. The citrus and toffee come through more in the taste. Dry hoppy finish. Not a bad example of the style.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy brass color with fizzy off-white head. The aroma is orange, some iced tea, melon, and a faint herbal note. Flavor is some citrus and herbal hop bitterness, with a carbonic sourness and a somewhat strange dusty, caramelly finish. Dark caramel lingers in my mouth for quite a while after. Ok.

Hoppy, with a decent malt finish to balance. This is nothing special for a pale ale, there are many better examples out there.

Soapy looking head and cloudy honey in color. Very easy drinking. Slightly musky yeasty aroma but its faint enough to be able to ignore. Clean hoppy flavor thats not overpowering and lends itself to the easy drinking quality. Overall, not the most complex beer out there but this could be a good session beer. Nice!

Hazy amber pour with dissapearing spotty white head. Some caramel malt in the nose. Not overly floral, but definitely has a hop profile. Fairly decent pale ale.

Bottle. Near-clear traffic light amber, appropriate carbonation, short soapsud head. The nose combines lemondrop PNW and woodsy/cheesy/Fuggley hops, plus wet slate or iron. Also scents of cherry pie and buttery malt. Not bad, but weirdly unexpected flavor- caramelly malts, Lifesaver candy fruitiness, mineral water. Minty/woody finish, lingering peppery aftertaste. Light and slick/oily mouthfeel. Just an okay APA; I get more of a UK than US impression.
