| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Pale light copper with a 2 inch white head that’s dense in the middle and weak on the sides, since the sides can’t grab the glass well, the head diminishes rapidly. It’s a little cloudy and exhibits moderate carbonation, thus portraying the existence of yeast in the bottle. The aroma is complex and varies between cascade hops and American malt, and also has a little spice. The beer tastes rich and full with meaty malt and spicy hops. It has a nice medium body and the flavors and finishes seemingly alternate between the malt and the hops dominating, so this beer is really well balanced. mrant (330), New York, USA
