Drinks with a full very smooth bitterness with a clean slightly malty finish. Well balanced and very easy to drink. Narnad (712), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Pours amber with a slight cloudy look from the small amount of yeast in the bottle. Frothy head that lasts for a good deal of the drink. Great light hops aroma. Taste is light citrus taste mixed the sweet malty flavor to finish. Overall a good offering but I wish the hops flavor would linger a bit longer as well as be a bit more prevalent at the beginning. milljam (584), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Nice amber color....light head. Aroma is light hops, subtle fruitiness. Nice hop presence in the flavor....could be a bit better on the malts though. Not a bad pale ale overall. HoppyGuy (111), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Pours light amber with a medium light head and good carbonation. Nice pine aroma with floral overtones. Great hops flavoe and light malt touch.
I had this beer with turkey chili and it was a good compliment, but I think it would go great with a decadent burger on a summer day. cb23 (97), St. louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2008 Poured dark amber with pretty good off-white head. Nose of resin and hops. First thing you taste is the hops. After a while you pick up sweet caramel. One of my favorite go-to beers as it is readily available in the midwest. Nice solid APA. jgb9348 (2511), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Nice golden coloured body with orange tints and a somewhat frothy white head. Aroma of pale malt with a little bit of hops in the scent with some wheatie aroma too. Medium-bodied; Short hoppy taste up front with mixes of cardboard and vomit with very little else. Aftertaste shows a lingering bitterness - but not really good and not fresh in the hops either. Overall - a decent beer with not much else than that. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from an 8-pack sampler purchased at Sam’s Wine & Liquors in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 15-December-2005. blutt59 (2146), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Wow I was actually surprised by this one. Pours a nice pale amber orange color with a big foamy head. Nose is a bit muted and smells of hops, flowers, citrus, and caramel. Tastes very refreshing and is extremely well balacned. The carbonation gives a nice bite. Had this while smoking a cigar and it stood up very well.
