Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle conditioned, so pass on the draft and get it in the bottle. Very drinkable, not outstanding. Based in Kansas City, only available within a few hundred miles.

Nice color, nice aroma. Just what I would expect from Boulevard, but man the taste was a let down. I’ll stick to their Wheat.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a loose, frothy, off-white head that diminishes. The nose is of fruity hops with a grainy straw in the background. The mouthfeel is light, slick and lightly bitter at the finish. Sweet, effervescent pale malts up front with a solid grapefruit and floral hop finish. I’ve had this beer more times than I can count on tap and in the bottle and curiously, this was the first time that I’d picked up any floral hops @ all. Maybe I’m hallucinating... This is a good session brew with a nice bitter hop finish at the back and sides of the tongue, but it’s not nearly as hoppy as say Sierra Nevada, which I prefer.

This pale ale pours a orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Pale Ale. Malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. Hops are grapefruity, citrusy and piney. Nice balance. Lively carbonation. Crisp finish. Would make a good session beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a course white head. Sweet citrus nose with piney/grassy notes. Light body with a crisp lightly hopped finish.

A nice APA. Just got done mowing the lawn and this one hits the spot on a nice evening. A little bite but smooth - almost goes down too easy. The price was right as well.
