Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

On draft at Arthur Bryants in KC. Poured a slightly hazy light copper topped by a rocky white head. Flavor was mildly hoppy with light character sweet malts. I was expecting something a bit more, maybe more body, but it wasn’t there. It does go good with bar-b-que, though.

on tap at Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue, Country Club Plaza Kansas City MO. clear light copper color, thin light tan head. light caramel malt and faint citrus hop aroma. very basic APA in that the flavor is more of the same - mild caramel malt and hoppy light bitter finish. a little bit of grapefruit but not much. went better with food.

12 oz. bottle. Very nice, strong, fruity, floral hops aroma: raspberry, rhubarb, tangerine. Sweet malt scent. Pours a hazy gold with a moderate amount of off-white head. American hops dominate the flavor, but they remain subdued. Some apple presence. Surprisingly subtle flavors given the powerful aroma. Slightly off, dull, bitter aftertaste, perhaps due to the live yeast. Medium body. Smooth in the palate. Boulevard Pale Ale has a great smell. Otherwise, it is an average-at-best, forgettable beer.

Pours golden amber with a nice head. Aroma is more malty than hoppy, but there are some nice hops in the flavor. Overall, well balanced, but a tad simple.

This was a decent beer, but could have had a little more flavor. Smooth, good taste and easy to drink, i’ve just come to expect more out of pale ales.

This is just a solid beer, and Boulevards flagship. For me, it is the gateway beer that got me interested in craft beer. Aroma is very light citrus and caramel, taste is lightly hopped and more malts than anything. A very quaffable beer that’s good in any season.

I love this beer. A solid pale ale. Nice head. Beautiful color. Taste has just the right maltiness with an even and strong citrusy bitterness from start to finish.

Amber in color with a fruity aroma. Little head with a crisp finish. Decent Pale Ale, but another fine beer from Boulevard
