Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

I had this one on tap at the Royals game. The game was dire; this beer was pretty good. Fairly large head, which seemed to be introduced by a shortcoming in the delivery system. Certainly better than the average ballpark offerings.

Bright amber appearance with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma was soft fruit and some sweet malt, but nothing distinct. Light-to-medium body, average carbonation; thin, watery palate. Short lived finish. Thanks, Wayne!

On tap: Tasted and smelled very perfumey. Ask the barkeep for a taste, glad I did, cuz it’s not worth the 3.95 you would have to pay...

Bottle. Pours amber orange with a nice frothy white head. Faint aroma of caramel, malt, and fruity hops. Lively carbonation on the tongue. Spicy herbal hops take the stage while the malt is more of a backdrop. Bitter finish has some hints of citrus. Not bad, but not a showstopper either. I remember this being better on tap a few years back.

Tap at The 54th Street B&G in Liberty, MO Coppery-Orange with a small off white head. Aroma is of hops. Flavor of citrusy/spicy hops with a little malt. This is an above average pale ale. This beer is completely different on tap than poured from a bottle. This was the beer that really got me into craft beer.

Bottle while in Iowa. Golden color with a little cloudiness. Nice white head with good lacing. Nose of malts and hops. Slightly sweet with decent mouthfeel. Flavor has a touch of citrus. Very solid APA and quite drinkable.

Hazy golden color with a stinky, earth hop aroma. Flavor has some sweet malt flavor with an underlying hop taste. There is a carbonation zing to this one and a satifying backend bitterness.
