Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle. Poured a hazy copper color with a large frothy white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate sweet hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium sweet bitter flavor with same balanced finiish of moderate duration. Better than my expectations.

A good pale amber ale. Just below Great Divide Ridgeline in this class, it is a medium body ale with a complex mix of malty flavor, a brisk if not robust hop presence, smooth and refreshing flavor and finish.

On tap @ KC Royals game. Light colored golden amber with white head. A little fruit and pine in the aroma. Good amount of hops. Very drinkable, and great beer to watch the Royals blow it in the 9th. Classic.

From a bottle, this poured a lighter amber with decent head. Good lacing all the way down. Nice, citrusy aroma. This brew has a good malty depth along with a decent wallop of citrusy hops at the end. Very nice.

A very drinkable pale ale, which poured with a gigantic head that laced quite well. Malty base that was somewhat sweet (but not fake or overly done) and balanced by a nice hops presence (not hopped silly, though). About as good as a pale ale can get in my book. Enjoyable and very drinkable.

Bottle: Spicy hops, suprising almost cinnamon like notes. Pale amber in colour. Refreshing and moreish. A little sweet but perfectly drinkable.

Pours clear gold/yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty weak with a little bit of grass, some citris hop and a touch of malt. Taste is the same with a strange almost lager like taste. Nice and clean easy drinker, but fairly bland.

Fruity, apricot nose and flavor. Whiff of hops too. Gold amber color. Tingly bitter, not so hoppy per se, but bitter. Medium body. Dark for a PA in color, not so thrilling.
