Nose is quite muted, with fruit and hops straining to poke their heads out however unsucessfully. Flavors are light-bodied and thin, might be a session brew as it was not unpleasent, just not robust enough. It makes Pale make total sense. Thanks jhammerly for the bottle. bigcat03 (191), Lincoln, Nebraska, USA

Thank GOD I only live an hour away from their brewery! SunSkates (47), Arkansas, USA

Solid maltiness and balanced bitterness. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2006 Another bottle of Boulevard from Mike at Bon Vivant. Thanks Mike! Hazy amber with a small ring of bubble around the edges of the glass. Nose is pleasantly hopped and sort of spicy. Light floral notes and a touch of honey an caramel amongst the malt. Taste is sort of standard APA, but this seems a bit on the sweeter and spicier side. Light caramel notes, creamy malts, faint honey, flowery hops and a touch of spice. Body is creamy and smooth with a mild carbonation feel. Finishes with orange peel, spicy hops, light floral notes, sweet malts, and light caramel. The fruits seem to come through moreso at the end (orange, light apricot, and a hint of melon). Not a bad APA at all. KAggie97 (2469), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Pours rich and gold with a nice, frothy head. Aroma has a tinge of orange, but mostly it’s a malty smell. Flavor is surpisingly floral, with hints of honey, citrus, and sweet candy. Hops are very detectable, but they never overpower. This is a dang good beer; perfect for a hot day. Papsoe (15009), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2006 (On tap) Ever so slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. A touch of caramel in the nose and a whiff of aroma hops. Medium body with some caramel and a discreet, hoppy finish. Certainly drinkable but not a great APA. 210306
