Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

(On tap) Ever so slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. A touch of caramel in the nose and a whiff of aroma hops. Medium body with some caramel and a discreet, hoppy finish. Certainly drinkable but not a great APA. 210306

12 oz bottle, via KUEric. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin film of a white head. Fairly active visible carbonation. Light floral hop aroma over a light crystal malt base. Rather generic Pale Ale flavor, moderate hop bitterness, light but crisp malt foundation. Light bodied with an excessively fizzy and prickly mouthfeel. Just an average Pale Ale, which seems to be my general feeling towards this brewery overall. Everything I’ve had seems to be without any major flaws yet they never excite.

I like a little more hops in my pale ale. Though, it has a nice complex flavor of citrus, sweet and has a nice bitter finish. A pretty good pale ale.

12 oz. bottle, Best By: 3/28/06. My wife brought it back from MO. while visiting family...Pours a hazy amber gold with a small, rocky, off-white head that quickly vanished. Spare lacing...Smell some light orange hops, light straw malts, and light doughy yeast. Light is the key word here, barely registers any aroma at all...Medium bodied, oily texture, and extremely soft carbonation. A smooth bitter finish...Tastes lightly sweet maple syrup coupled with muted citrus hops that finishes with a bit of freshly squeezed orange juice...Nice PG beer. Nothing memorable, nothing unique, but a solid brew nonetheless. A good choice to introduce to someone who normally would only drink Macro’s as it has a decent bitter hop kick but is still entirely accessible. A perfect springtime ale.

Good fairly bitter tase, quite hoppy, head dissipates quickly. Made me begin to apprecaite pale ales again. Always a nice discovery in odd places (ie, Mulligan’s in Waukon, IA)

12oz bottle from Eboats. Pours a bright orange color with a white foamy head. Lots of racing bubbles throughout. A nice lightly hopped, sweet grainy malt nose. Flavors of grapefruit, light sweet malt, a touch of lemon. Finishes with a light bitterness and a dry pucker mouth. Palate is a bit watery.

12oz bottle via trade with eboats! - Thanks Caleb! - Pours golden/amber with a short white head that stays pretty well and laces some. Aromas of light grains, some floral and light citrus hops, and a bit of pineapple. Flavor is light malts, some grain, and a touch of floral hops as well. Palate is light and easy drinking. Not much sets this apart from any other pale ales I’ve tried..
