Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle from GBBF 09. Orange amber colour with thin lasting beige head. Not hugely aromatic. It has some stone fruit flavour in the mouth, some soft red fruits on the finish. No big hop, but it has some attractive fruit flavours in there. More a bitter than a pale ale. Likeable though

Pours a creamy melon color with nice spicy hoppyness for a light beer. Slightly floral in taste and smell. Overall a good pale ale with nice flavor.

Bottle from GBBF 09. Hazy amber with a healthy offwhite head. Fruity hop aroma, hints of apples and melons. Sharper fruit flavours, still good bitterness. Good without screaming too loud.

Pours a rich, dirty orange color. Slight head. Aroma is of slight fruit. Taste is balanced, I’d say fruity hops and msome malt. Good session beer.

This is an ideal representation of what an easy drinking pale ale should be. Nose is very citrusy with a hint of estery notes that you’ll find in a weiss bier. Palate is a refreshing balance of hops & malt that rides well on a medium to light body, ending in a medium length finish of dry hop character. Great with savory foods or by itself as an appetizer for other beers.

aroma of light hops and pale, bland malt. flavor has some hops and strikes well enough of a balance. still, neither here nor there enough to be stellar on any level.
