Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Slightly hazy and golden in the glass, aromas of apricot, yeast, and caramelized sugar. Tasting shows a balanced beer which is full-bodied and somewhat complex. Flavors are yeast, bread, and coriander in addition to the hoppy undertow. A little extra carbonated to supercharge the hop bite without raising the IBUs, but still a drinkable pale ale.

This is a solid but unimpresive pale ale from Boulevard. Yep, that’s about it.

Thanks to the Heemer77 for this business. This isn’t a bad pale ale by a stretch. It’s one of the light, very drinkable kinds of Pale Ale--and that’s not a bad thing; sometimes you don’t want to be picking out notes of berry, vanilla, oak and tobacco and just drink some damn beer. This particular version of that style pours a hazy orange with just a few wisps of head. Nose is fresh and citric with an emphasis on lemon. It’s on the lighter end of medium bodied but thick enough to be satisfying. The carbonation is brisk, verging on being overzealous but still within reason. There’s just a touch of malt--more too compliment the hops than anything but it’s only lightly bittered. There’s something in there that kind of reminds me of how scotch tape smells but somehow still tastes good... I don’t know what the hell that could be. This isn’t a mind blowing beer and it’s not trying to be. It’s a solid ale meant to be drank and not contemplated. And I think I’m going to go ahead and do just that.

beautiful pour and auroma. Taste great, fruity with a nice mix of hops. A great beer to enjoy with my pizza.

Tan/pale brown with a cream colored head that subsides over the course of a minute or two and leaves some lacing. The bottle conditioning yeast is visable. The aroma is fruity and hoppy. The taste is balanced with hoppy/fruity flavors. Medium light body. The finish almost sweet and lighty bitter and short. This beer is a great session beer and is just as great on a snowy night as it is on a hot summer afternoon. The beer is brewed a few miles from my house and is my regular beer. You can almost always find it for $10 a 12 and it is on tap nearly everywhere in the KC area.

Pour is a nice light amber with a white head. Aroma is of weak hops. Flavor is also pretty weak in the hops department but the malts save this one. Decent but not outstanding.

Pours a hazy orange color. Small white head. Aroma of fruitsnacks, and citrusy hops. Flavor is malty, with a citrus/piney kick to it. Nice session brew, thanks to Heemer for this one!

One of my local favorites. Exellent fresh taste. Reminds me of Sierra Pale Ale but a little less bite. Aroma is fruity and hoppy. Good every time
