Commercial Description:
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, medium-bodied and well hopped ale with year-round appeal. We include caramel malt in the recipe to provide a rich flavor and amber color. Pale Ale is the first beer we produced and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Poured orangey amber with thin long lasting off white head...smelled nutty, malty, with a hint of hops...taste was all over the place...orchard fruits, bread, hops, nuts...mild as far as IBUs go, but a great beer!!

Cloudy Orange Coloring With Good White Head. Citrus and Hops Aroma. Creamy...Citrus...Hops tend to Dominate... A Very Decent Pale Ale.

Was orange with a white head. Bought a 12 pack for $12 just because it was the best available selection. Aroma has citrus and some mild hops. Nice and smooth with a decent hops taste. A nice mild taste that makes this beer easy to drink. Though it is not as strong as other pale ales I still found it enjoyable.

Copper/amber with a foamy white head. Aroma was citrus and malt. And, for some unknown reason, I got a hint of parmesean. Smooth and creamy, medium bodied. Flavor was pleasant citrus and hops. A good, crisp, refreshing beer. Nothing outstanding, just good.

By tradition I am a lager man, and it is with great reserve when I purchase an ale to drink. But as a staunch supporter of Boulevard’s Unfiltered Wheat, I thought I would give this beer a try. By far the best Ale I’ve tasted. Flavor was very tasty, with a very fruity and somewhat sweet note. Colour was a nice peach/copper colour. Very fine.

Color approaches peach, with a fine white crown. Aroma is fresh with hops (Cascade?), and bubbling over with fruit: apricot, peach, pineapple, some soft citrus at the back. Very sweet and delicious, this. Palate is flavorful with welcome hop presence, just enough for flavor, but too prominent. Malt is strong and silent: you can feel it, and taste a touch. Very well-balanced, smooth and tasty, this pale ale reminds me of Sierra Nevada in it’s mellow but fruit-forward fashion. Goes down beautifully, and I’d toss it back with regularity if I could. Sharper aspects of homulus lupus arrive late on the palate, and contribute to some variety in this brew. Finish is short but sweet. Quite enjoyable.

orange colored with a nice hoppy smell and taste. has a nice rich flavor that is not dominated by hops. the hops in this beer are perhaps a little too smooth for an APA, but this is still a good solid brew. thanks bill for this one too!
