| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 1, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some sweet grapefruit, pineapple and citric and a pronounced honey malt character. Flavor starts with a very fruity and citric sweet character before picking up some grainy maltiness. Slightly bitter and crisp finish. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. A decent pale ale, unfortunately there was no real wow to it that would make me wanna keep coming back to it again and again. JAG55 (17), O’Fallon, Missouri, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Pours a slightly hazed orange color. Thin white head that lasted with some lacing. Very little aroma. Mostly a thin sweet smell. No hops present in the aroma. Thin malt taste but I can get some hop flavor. It has that weird smoked wood (Beechwood Aged) that I taste in Budweiser. It’s not an off-putting taste, just an observation. shawnm213 (954), South Bend, Indiana, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Sampled from 12-oz bottle from Boulevard variety 12-pack. Pours a clear golden amber brew with an average off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus zest, a hint of caramel malt, some light pine and grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of caramel malt, grassy and cirtusy hops, and a touch of green vegetable. Finish is semi-dry some fruit with the bitter hops really comes out in the finish. kuphish (161), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours a large, frothy, off-white head. Lasting and lacy. Clear, amber body with abundant carbonation bubbles. Aroma is of mild floral hops and light bread crust. Light citrus and more floral hops in the flavor. Malts are caramel and little biscuit. Some wood and pear also present in the flavor. Medium, smooth body. Average carbonation. Moderately bitter, clean finish. II wish there were a more prominent presence played by the flavor and aroma hops. The malt profile is very pleasant. Overall a well made, subtle APA. Very sessionable. A tip of the hat to the beer that got me interested in craft beer.
