dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Oct 31, 2009 Bottle. Poured a straw yellow color with a little white head. Aroma is grains and malts. Flavor is sweet, and very crisp and clean. Finishes crisp and some bitter. A very easy drinking beer. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Oct 14, 2009 Pour is a bright gold with a average fizzy white head. Aroma is all things grain wih not much of a hop profile. Flavor is at first a very sweet malt followed by some corn and grain. Easy to drink but i thought this would be better. Ughsmash (3978), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 6, 2009 Bottled. Poured clear, brighter golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma was fresh and delightful with lemon zest and a floral bouquet over bread and honey maltage.. simple, but well executed. The flavor opened with that same lemon zest, rolling into honey sweetness at the core.. lemon candy and light floral bitterness around.. quick, crisp, refreshing finish. Light-bodied with tight carbonation on the palate.. fresh impression and tasty. Just what I want from my pilseners. sneagrams3 (1704), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Aug 30, 2009 Tasted 8/30/09. 12oz Longneck bottle. Crisp hiss upon opening. Pale golden hue with a quickly dissipating white head. From a solid layer to a webbed. Very faint aromas, with caramel malts at the top of the short list. Medium bodied with a rather big palate. Grainy but with more of a caramel punch. Subtle berry esters. Finishes somewhat sweet with a lingering, tingling effervescence. Considering what it is, it’s quite nice! All the necessary qualities and a large degree of freshness. Nice stuff! rader58 (164), Leawood, Kansas, USA Aug 19, 2009 Pours a clear yellow. Aroma of grain and yeast. Grain flavor. Watery. Dry finish. I am not a fan of pilsners and this is no exception. Take that into consideration when viewing my rating. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Aug 14, 2009 (draft). Clear golden color. Small white head. Very light grainy aroma and flavor. Avg duration. Smooth finish. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing. FlssmrBrewAlum (1060), Lisle, Illinois, USA Aug 11, 2009 12 oz bottle coourtesy of a trade with csbosox. Pours a well carbonated dark straw, decent bright white head that dies to a full film, laces some. Largely carbonation driven. Aromas are Pilsener malts, a bit stinky, grainy with slight sweetness underneath some light florals hops, corn, cereal, faint spice. Initial is clean, cereal malts, bread, a bit of spice in the hops, faint florals, crisp and refreshing, light bodied summer sipper with the typical Pilseneer malts, slight spice and floral and grass from the hops, and a bit of mellow sweetness in the aftertaste, cereal and drop of honey or something along those lines. Not a bad brew. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Aug 7, 2009 Deep gold pour with white head and lace. Light malt and corn aroma. Light semi sweet malt. A starting and dry finish. Medium bodied and pretty foamy.
