Pale golden hue with a quickly dissipating white head. From a solid layer to a webbed. Very faint aromas, with caramel malts at the top of the short list. Medium bodied with a rather big palate. Grainy but with more of a caramel punch. Subtle berry esters. Finishes somewhat sweet with a lingering, tingling effervescence. Considering what it is, it’s quite nice! All the necessary qualities and a large degree of freshness. Nice stuff! rader58 (181), Leawood, Kansas, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2009 12 oz bottle coourtesy of a trade with csbosox. Pours a well carbonated dark straw, decent bright white head that dies to a full film, laces some. Largely carbonation driven. Aromas are Pilsener malts, a bit stinky, grainy with slight sweetness underneath some light florals hops, corn, cereal, faint spice. Initial is clean, cereal malts, bread, a bit of spice in the hops, faint florals, crisp and refreshing, light bodied summer sipper with the typical Pilseneer malts, slight spice and floral and grass from the hops, and a bit of mellow sweetness in the aftertaste, cereal and drop of honey or something along those lines. Not a bad brew. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
