Pours gold with a white head. Smells of sweet malt, perfumy, some fruity hints. Tastes of pilsner malt, some peppery splashes, some wildflower hints, a fruity touch on the finish.

Sample at Noogfest High 5. Poured clear pale color with average white ffrothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable sweet brew.

Bottle. The gold body was topped with the required white head. The aroma was doughy with some apricots. The taste was metallic with some bread notes. A little bit of potato. The coolest thing here was the retro label and the long neck bottle from Boulevard. Otherwise, this was just like a well made pale lager, certainly not like and real pils as I was expecting. They want to get the Bud crowd with this one and I hope they make some inroads.

Post GTMW burned out after dinner beer in the hotel room, thanks csbosox: Clean golden hue with a small fizzy head. The aroma has notes of herbal and grassy hops, hint of pear and apple esters, biscuity and grainy malts. The taste is crisp noble hops, grainy malts, and some herbal spicy tones upon the finish. The mouth feel is nice and lively, mostly clean and crisp. Very well played for the style, good solid brew.

Bottled. Poured clear, brighter golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma was fresh and delightful with lemon zest and a floral bouquet over bread and honey maltage.. simple, but well executed. The flavor opened with that same lemon zest, rolling into honey sweetness at the core.. lemon candy and light floral bitterness around.. quick, crisp, refreshing finish. Light-bodied with tight carbonation on the palate.. fresh impression and tasty. Just what I want from my pilseners.

Light grass and grain on the nose. Pale golden pour. Soft grain, bread, and grass. Lingering light grain. Kind of clean, but not very assertive. Meh.

12oz bottle. Pours bright golden color, thin white head. Basic and expected appearance. Aroma of straw and some grass featured. Nice grain and a bit peppery. Decent fizz. Flavor of pale sweet grain. Finishes with a bit of a medicinal hop earthiness.
