Pours light+ amber, with thick white head. Aromas of grapefruit, coriander, clove, and meadow hay. The flavor is classic saison, spicy malt, light hops, with citrus and clove. Very nice

Bottle received via trade with xmarcnolanx. Pours clear and sparkling yellow with a large, rocky, white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt -bread, straw-, light hops -flowers, herbs-, heavy yeast -horse blanket, barnyard, earth- with notes of clove, grape, and apple. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness and acidity, moderate bitterness.

An almost clear golden ale with a thin white head. A pleasant funky aroma of coriander, pepper, catnip and citrus. In mouth, a good spiced malt with light coriander, orange and black pepper. A classy saison. Tasted at Mondiale 2008, June 1 2008.

20081207 750 ml bottle, batch S8109. Hazed pale gold with steadily streaming lines of fine eff keeping aloft a fluffy white head. Aroma is lemon grassy and mildly sweet with pils type malts and some spicy yeast. Lovely, really, and inviting. The body is light and airy with prominent eff, perhaps more tingly than I would prefer but still nice and quite refreshing. No sweetness in flavor but plenty of spicy yeast, French bread notes, light fruits, wheat. Quick finish with grassy hop bite and last hit of citrus. Really nice beer I wish was available locally.

Bottle: Hazy light golden pour with a foamy white head. Aroma of a lot of floral yeast, sweet light malt, a hint of honey, and a bit of orange zest. Flavor is lightly sweet with a lightly spicey yeast, light hints of honey. Finishes with some wheat and a hint of bitterness. Very well blended brew.

Bottle thanks to Eugene. Fairly typical American-made saison, but a very good one. Bright deep golden pour with big fluffy white head. Citrus and mild spice. Nice yeasty taste. Some wheatiness and citrus zest. Very drinkable. Not quite as crisp/dry as I would have liked. Great palate. A very solid brew. I could drink this all summer.

750ml bottle. Pours a very pale/straw yellow color with a very effervescent and frothy white head that has decent retention and lacing. Aroma is light and citrusy, not a hop citrus, more of a lemon zest citrus. There is also a nice wheat character in the nose as well. Flavor is very nice, easy and light. There are hints of wheat and lemon zest, not too far off from a wit. It is very easy on the palate and very sessionable. It has a drawn out finish that leaves a nice taste in the back of your mouth. This is a beer that you could drink the entire 750 no problem.
