Nose has a nice moderate farmhouse/horseblanket odor. Taste is a big medicinal, fruity, sweet. Fluffy carbonated palate with a thinnish body. Overall a nice summer beer that I would certainly drink again. Soonah (965), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a nice, foamy white head that produced spotty lacing. The aroma was light Belgian yeast over some citrus. The flavor was yeasty, bread, lemon and spice. The mouthfeel was better than I expected, almost creamy. A nice beer. glkaiser (1171), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a slightly cloudy yellow-gold color with a big fluffy white head that leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength with spices(mostly white pepper), pears and lavender. The taste is complex with sweet fruits, esters, spices and a bit of funk. The mouthfeel is full and malty with lively carbonation. The finish is long and very dry. Overall: A very enjoyable saison. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2008 750ml bottle. Very carbonated, not a gusher but a lot of foam in the glass. Poured a medium golden, with a BIG white fluffy head. Smell of lemons, very acidic aroma. Light flavor, a little citrus, not too bad.
